Our dedicated team of fire and rescue professionals work hard and risk their lives every day in order to serve and protect the community. Alfred Sellers
Chief and Fire Instructor 1
Alfred Sellers took over as Chief in October 2013 He began his Volunteer Career in June of 1992.
in 2019 Chief Alfred received his Fire Instructor 1 certification.
Chief Alfred is also certified through ASHI (American Safety Health Institute to teach First Aid and CPR. Chief Alfred is also 1 of the County VFIS Instructors trained to teach Emergency Vehicle Operations for bothe Fire Department and Ambulance Drivers.

Stephen Jones
Assistant Chief
Stephen Began his Volunteer Firefighting Career at age 18. Work took him away temporarily. When he returned he returned to service. Rising Through the ranks to Assistant Chief. Stephen also serves a truck maintenence supervisor.

In 1982, Pittman Volunteer Fire Department was established in order to provide first rate fire protection services in the Pittman Comunity provide mutual aid to other departments . Since then, we’ve established a reputation for handling our duties in an efficient and effective manner. We make sure to stay ahead of new challenges facing our ability to put fires out quickly. We work closely with the public we serve to ensure that we all live in the safest environment possible, and engage with them through community outreach programs and educational seminars on the latest in fire safety.
